TWB Groups

Building on the success with their main site redesign, we helped Teachers Without Borders improve their TWB Groups site which is built with Open Atrium to further support collaboration among their members. The site's goal is to facilitate knowledge sharing and organization for members in common local areas or with shared interests, and bridge online planning and real world meetups.

Our work focused on:

Customizing the Open Atrium theme.
Completing an image gallery feature.
Updating translations and multilanguage support.
Setting up a private messaging system.
Making general layout improvements, including a custom homepage.
Improving the faceted search (based on Searchlight) on the site.
Setting up a filesharing system.
Creating a custom user information popup.
Fixing the user notification system.
Made sure that all of the Open Atrium overrides were done properly so that core can still be upgraded and maintained easily.
