TWB Redesign

Teachers Without Borders came to us looking for a review and redesign of their international homepage on a very tight timeframe. In four short weeks, we partnered with Codename Design to expand the existing site into one that could be built repeatably for other languages and regions. We undertook an information architecture audit, a complete redesign and retheme, and a tightening up of their existing content and Drupal architecture. We also did some development of new features for the redesign.

Custom News Aggregator

One of the main features we developed was a news aggregator for their Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts, as well as their many internal RSS feeds. This feature is displayed prominently on the homepage and used to show how active Teachers Without Borders is online. Additionally, the news aggregator was designed as a jumping off point for user engagement, especially since the redesign focused on familiarizing newcomers to the organization, and then showing them all the ways they can get involved.

Faceted search

We used faceted search to allow a guided search for users to browse through the content. This was built using Drupal's Faceted search module.
