There are many ways to build a website. In the realm of feature-rich platforms with custom designs, it’s important to work with a well-supported, robust technology that can expand your organization. Given our commitment to collaboration over competition, it’s no surprise that we prefer open-source software - both for its community and the freedom it offers from licensing fees. We have used Drupal for many years as one of our Content Management Systems (CMS) of choice. It is powerful and dependable and has established itself as a platform capable of delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions.

Drupal is developed and maintained by a global, open-source community. Contributors use their skills to evolve and modernize the platform and safeguard its security continually. Drupal’s coding standards and strict community code review process make it one of the most secure platforms in the market.

We’re excited to share some examples of how Drupal has supported many organizations we work with, as well as provide context for how the landscape is evolving and ensure our clients and friends in the open-source community always know we’re here as a strategic partner who can help navigate changing technology landscapes in ways that align best with your priorities and needs.

Benefits of Drupal

Custom needs deserve custom solutions, and this is where Drupal really flexes its muscles. Drupal is a flexible platform well-suited to the complex needs of organizations across many sectors. We have developed many solutions over the years that align with Drupal’s strengths, such as:

  • Foundational architecture for building complex and engaging software that fits organizational needs
  • Processing and managing large-scale datasets, including interactivity and data visualizations
  • Integration with other enterprise tools
  • Committed to accessibility according to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Content creation, management and control over user roles and publishing workflows
  • Security and coding consistency for all community-supplied modules

Drupal projects we celebrate

Putting Drupal’s strengths into action, we’ve been fortunate to work with some incredible government, health and education clients who have maximized the versatility and control that Drupal offers.

Now and next

Drupal will continue to evolve, and we will be here as a trusted partner to guide you through the changes. Like all technology, maintenance is required to ensure the platforms stay stable and secure. Drupal releases regular version upgrades that help keep the software strong and adaptable.

Over the past year, we have supported many of our clients to upgrade them to Drupal 10. This version has features that make life easier for developers and content editors alike, including media handling, moderation workflows and new features that can rarely be found in proprietary solutions that are available in the market today.

If you are considering launching a new site and want to discuss which platform is best for your organization’s needs, we would love to chat.  We are also here to collaborate on strategic planning for enhancements to existing Drupal sites and any future upgrades.
