TRIUMF is involved in huge amounts of collaborative research, and needed some help upgrading and unifying a collection of sub-sites for the various research groups they work with.

The Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education promotes peace through education, personal transformation, and dialogue. Affinity Bridge helped the center to develop a new website that allows the Dalai Lama Center to easily keep their content up to date, showcase information about the Center and the various programs they run, and better manage and integrate content related to their conferences. Additionally, we have integrated the site with several of the most common platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.

WorkSafeBC was originally founded in 1917 and has since been dedicated to workplace health and safety in British Columbia. They provide educational material, compliance monitoring, and support for injured workers, helping protect the health and safety of all employers and workers in BC.

New York University's (NYU) Furman Center is one of the leaders of academic research in the areas of urban public policy research, focusing on land use, housing development and real estate studies. The PlanNYC web portal provides information on housing and urban development in New York City categorized by neighbourhood and planning project, and strives to give a broad range of viewpoints and resources on the issues at hand.

The Pivot Legal Society is a non-profit that does legal advocacy work in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Their focus is on using legal approaches to address the causes of and detriments to quality of life for marginalized members of society. Learn more about their work on their site.

Vancouver Economic Development Commission (VEDC) supports businesses and business development in Vancouver, working with both companies and government to make policy recommendations, carry out research, and inform companies. They provide free services to companies and entrepreneurs, and coordinate with Vancouver's municipal government on the needs of the business community. 

S4S is an organization that works on facilitating and consulting for sustainable development projects, and building web-based solutions to help these organizations. Their online collaboration tools and the expertise of the organization's senior partners provide a valuable resource that scales for sustainability projects of any size.

The University of British Columbia Faculty of Forestry's Sustainable Forest Management Indicator Knowledge Base project is exemplary of their keeping with progressive social values and knowledge sharing. Their programs are committed to cutting edge research, and focus on both the practical aspects of the forestry industry, and critical thinking about ecology, cultural issues, and technology related to forestry.

UBC's Sauder School of Business is internationally reputed as Canada's leading academic business school. With various MBA programs, and a focus on critical thinking and practical application, their faculty of leaders in business prepares students to excel in today's ever changing business environment.

Big Room Inc. is a Vancouver based company that works to promote and facilitate adopting green choices. The company's founders are longtime environmentalists with backgrounds in sustainable development, and forestry and environmental studies.

The Taunton Press is a magazine publisher who focuses on material for professional tradespeople and do-it-yourself enthusiasts. They have serveral different publications such as Fine Gardening Fine Woodworking Fine Cooking, and Threads and also put out books on similar topics. The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre is a non-profit association run by the Vancouver Aquarium. It manages the funding of the Aquarium's education and conservation programs, such as Ocean Wise and the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.

The Vancouver Rape Relief and Women's Shelter is a non-profit that has worked towards achieving equality for women for over 35 years. They do activist work surrounding challenging laws and policies that perpetuate violence against women, and run a rape crisis center in Vancouver.

The University of Ottawa's Computing and Communications Services (CCS) commissioned Affinity Bridge to develop a Drupal-based messaging portal to help faculty keep in touch with students. This private web application connects to the UOttawa Student Information System to synchronize its user accounts and faculty structure.

Wilderness Committee is a non-profit, and one of the largest membership-based, citizen-funded wilderness protection organizations in the country. Their main goals focus on protecting biodiversity and funding research and public education. Some of their projects include research and mapping, collaborating with other environmental groups and First Nations, and surveying threatened wilderness areas. They have had many successful campaigns protecting wilderness across western Canada.

Results for Development (R4D) is a non-profit that helps facilitate socioeconomic growth in developing countries. We manage their organization's website as well as four of their projects' individual websites, all focused on providing information on policy and development programs.

The Co-operative Housing Federation of BC (CHF BC) is a co-operative association whose members are made up of housing co-operatives in British Columbia and some related organizations. The organization was originally established in 1982 to help further co-op housing in the province and represent co-op housing to government and the public, as well as help improve standards of the co-ops and share knowledge and skills between members.

The PLAN Institute's mission focuses on strengthening and creating more caring communities. They believe that marginalized community members and their families can contribute as much to this strength as they gain from it. Their work has taken the goal of decreasing isolation, and creating connections and dialogue with marginalized community members, and turned that into concrete actions and programs.

Vancity is Canada's largest credit union. Founded in 1946, they have consistently stood for transparency within their financial institution, and a commitment to the larger community. Vancity has several environmental sustainaibility endeavours, and runs using the Co-operative Principles of the International Co-operative Alliance.

BC Housing is an organization funded by British Columbia's provincial government to manage and develop subsidized housing, in accordance with BC's Housing Act. They assist with all levels of subsidized housing from shelters to low-income housing, and help enforce provincial mandates.

The Midwives Association of British Columbia is both a public education group and a support system for midwives in the province of BC. The MABC website provides information for patients and for practitioners, including a private Members Section for midwives, as well as a Find a Midwife search.
